With songs, movement, games and a variety of instruments, musical elements are experienced and worked with creatively.
The art of listening is fostered, as is questioning and enquiry.
Personal initiative is encouraged – seeing connections and new possibilities.
Beginner workshops provide first steps on the musical journey.
The Workshops are progressive and children are able to continue to develop musicianship skills with next level classes.
Great preparation for children who wish to study an instrument, plus a fantastic supplement to those already doing so.
Workshops for reception/year1 + accompanying adult
Parents/carers share the musical experiences and learning alongside their children, thus enabling them to support their child’s musical progression.
Workshops for Year 2/Year 3
Children only in the workshop; parents very welcome to observe.
